There is https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/hardware/libirman now properly
packages and on it's way to factory, once it is accepted I will update lircs
requirements to use it.

you can either change your distro to factory or add repository vdr/lirc to your
system (once it is contains libirman and updated lirc)

As for maint update I will create one if lirc is almost useless in 13.2
