Output of alsa-info.sh
On the thinkpad helix there is no sound from the tablet speakers or the
headphones. `cat /proc/asound/cards' lists the following devices:
0 [HDMI ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel HDMI
HDA Intel HDMI at 0xf1118000 irq 59
1 [Audio ]: USB-Audio - USB Audio
Generic USB Audio at usb-0000:00:14.0-3.3, high speed
Card 1 is for the speakers on the detachable keyboard.
I tried Ubuntu 16.04 and there both the speakers and headphones work. `cat
/proc/asound/cards' lists:
0 [HDMI ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel HDMI
HDA Intel HDMI at 0xf1118000 irq 47
1 [Audio ]: USB-Audio - USB Audio
Generic USB Audio at usb-0000:00:14.0-3.3, high speed
2 [broadwellrt286 ]: broadwell-rt286 - broadwell-rt286
broadwell-rt286
To reproduce: Not sure what to say here since you need specific hardware.
It seems Tumbleweed does not have the driver needed for this device. I tried
installing Leap and the Broadwell card was not recognised there also.
