I have an ASUS 1015E-DS02 laptop running OpenSuse 42.1 (leap), and it has started rebooting regularly. Often there is nothing in the log, but after a recent reboot I had: h_crtc_commit [i915]] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A (start=1181 end=11 82) followed by boot messages. This appears to be the same bug as http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2015-August/074113.html https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91579 The last of those seems to imply this is drm_intel. Currently I have v 2.4.65-1.1 installed from openSUSE-leap/42.1-Oss Maybe a newer version needs to be supplied? It seems to be fixed somewhere, according to the last link above (I don't really understand).
