A maintenance update has been submitted to 13.2, which should bring KDE Applications 14.12.1. This also includes the latest released version for libkexiv2. I hope that this update will resolve the issue. Otherwise the upstream developer should indicate which commit is still missing, so that we can add this as a patch. Digikam, libkexiv2 and libexiv2 are all then on the latest releases.
