Comment # 11 on bug 956121 from Edward Feustel

I have done further experimentation. Apparently my problem is NOT with the
graphics. It is apparently with "inherited" "." files that control my shells.
I am now trying to figure out which files I need to remove/replace.

Previously, I had used my system as a database of files with NFS. Now that I am
trying to login, there is a problem. I had been a Sun User of Openwindows.
Apparently this has polluted the bash, csh, and ksh "." files for my userid.
Now graphics works for root and for a test user: turkey, but still fails for my
standard userid.

Suggestions for replacement for all standard files related to scripting or
graphics used in Leap42.1 would be appreciated.
