Found it!!!!! Just install pam_ldap and nss_ldap and then problem solved. The client will work. Recommendation: Mark the following packages too to be installed when yast2-auth-client is selected for installation: pam_ldap pam_ldap-32bit nss_ldap nss_ldap-32bit Cheers and reply back please!
