Just played around by using fdm from server:mail and an entry in /etc/mail/mailertable for the local sendmail installation with an uucp-dom: line for a specific domain name. After adding this specific domain name to /etc/mail/local-host-names on the remote side, I was able to fetch the mail from this remote side over suucp, that is with stunnel and uucp.
