i don't speak about create,edit,remove a connection but about editing what info
is displayed about a connection. i joined a capture of the editor. please view
it.

with this editor you cans select what info is displayed.
for example:

ipv4 address
ipv6 address
ipv4 gateway
ipv6 gateway
channel
security (wap,wep ...)
etc.
