New SuSEfirewall2 maintainer here. I'm working on the backlog bugs. Sorry for
the long delay.

Are you still experiencing these issues? If so, can you please give an update
of the situation? Are you still running on Leap 42.1?

I'd need some information for analyzing this:

- content of your /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 configuration file
- output from the following commands, run as root, in the good situation and
  the bad situation:

  * iptables -L -v
  * ip addr
  * journalctl -u SuSEfirewall2

Also it would be interesting to know, whether restart of the dbus service
still triggers the issue.
