pm-hibernate itself is a source of many suspend problems (exactly a link between pm-hibernate and userspace suspend utilities). As a first step of debugging of all suspend/hibernate problems in Tumbleweed, it's proposed to: 1. Uninstall package pm-utils. 2. Uninstall package suspend. 3. Try Suspend/Hibernate by calling of "systemctl suspend" or "systemctl hibernate" (all desktop environments should now support this way to hibernate). pm-hibernate will not be available any more. There will be a Tumbleweed update soon that will automatically uninstall both upper mentioned packages. >From now on, only kernel implementation of hibernation and suspend and only suspend initiated by systemd are supported. Userspace suspend that was used by pm-utils calling utilities from suspend package caused more problems that it solved. For more information see a long discussion about this decision in the bug 925873.
