Ok, but what's recommended for out-of-the-box install?

It's not typical to be installing LVs in DomUs anyway.

Even a warning shouldn't be the first thing you see in a clean install

This one is a clean DomU install.  Nothing's been done other than the initial
install, then a 'zypper up' with default, as installed repos.
