I wonder where that "recommendation" comes from...

home repos often contain broken software. 

Would be better if we change the recommendation - 
e.g. would be good if someone (especially the packager) did

osc sr home:avli:games angband games

because then there would be a more prominent place for different people to
cooperate on package maintenance
plus I already added that repo on my kid's computer, so it would be easier to
get
