I have a xps 15 9550 with a USB-C port Thunderbolt capable, when I connect a a usb-c hub to the port nothing happens. If the hub is connected when the system is starting up or when it comes up from sleep it will work. Same thing happens with any device including my nexus5, if I connect it when the system is running it does not work, it only work if I reboot with it connected.
