Hmm, I guess I'm confused. I thought that Packman built as a link to the openSUSE repos. As for Dominique's VLC/Qt5 fix, I am currently using it *from the Packman repo* (it somehow already got included there) and it completely resolves all VLC bugs I've noted thus far.
