User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/47.0.2526.106 Safari/537.36 Build Identifier: ibus-mozc 2.16.2037.102-7.2 when invoked defaults to Direct Input instead of hiragana, meaning a mouse movement is required to switch to hiragana input. fcitx-mozc defaults to hiragana input ibus-anthy defaults to hiragana input ibus-kkc defaults to hiragana input ibus-mozc on Linux Mint defaults to hiragana input I'm not sure why the behaviour would be different in Leap 42 as anthy is no longer maintained and kkc is lacking in a lot of kana-kanji conversion it leaves mozc as the most comprehensive kana-kanji engine. However, because of the behaviour of defaulting to direct input it is the least convenient to use of all the available engines for Japanese input. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: should default to hiragana input
