When I start gvim, I just get an window with the menu and tool bar, but the main edit area is empty. On stderr gvim outputs the following messages: (gvim:17545): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_set_size_request: assertion 'width >= -1' failed *** BUG *** In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug The problem appeared after installing Tumbleweed snapshot 20161104. Most likely it is related to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=842070 and caused by the upgrade of gtk3 (3.22.1 -> 3.22.2)
