We need to figure out, why X happens to crash here. I don't see this in the logfile. :-( (it would be easier with an existing Xorg.0.log.old) Is this with autologin configured? If yes, please disable it. It might help us here, e.g. if the crash happens during session login and not already before greeter comes up ...
