Fwd: Re: [opensuse-boosters] maybe some tasks for the boosters
Moin,
first the forwarded mail from Gerald regarding a launch party in Vienna.
Second, we may think about changing subscribers only list policies as for part
time contributors like Gerald this is a challenge.
Best

* Launch Party Vienna I spoke with my manager, Gerald Pfeifer, who is not just native in german but as well lives in Vienna. He'd be willing to give a presentation there. Most important for that is to agree on a date with him. The current date on the launch party page [1] July 13 is prior to the launch and therefor not appropriate.
Let me know how I can help / what the next steps are. For those who may not know me on the Viennese side, I have a bit of history with VIBE and the Big Brother Awards before moving to Nürnberg to work for SUSE/Novell during the week in 2003 and can speak Austrian if neccessary. ;-) The only challenge for me this time around may be one of timing as I just noticed. I may need to be in the US in the week of July 19th (likely leaving on the 20th) and many of us will be in Praha the week beforethat, at the SUSE Labs conference which runs July 13th-16th. What are your current thoughts on schedule? It has always been an annoyance to me, indeed. I don't want to subscribe to opensuse-kernel, or opensuse-kde, or... because I don't have time to read them. But I might send a mail there from time to time. Of course, its a mailinglist dummy :) If you want to participate you better read the mails going over it so you're better be subscribed. Whats the point in sending mail to a mailinglist if you can't follow the responses? Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, openSUSE.
