I am setting up an email server for unix and I have found several open source or free ones but I was wondering about SuSE's email server. Is there a free version or can I get a discount for being a student. And what about the ftp directory with an email server it says its SuSE IMAP server I only see files for version 2.0 what is this? Ali P.S. Please repond to my message about the cd directory trees.

It's an imap email server with ldap, web-based configuration and mail client, a calendaring system, etc. Except for the calander system it's all based on open source software: cyrus, imp, postfix, apache. What you saw on the ftp server were the updates. Given it's cost and intended users (basically, small and medium sized businesses) you're probably better either creating your own or using one of the free ones. -- -ckm
