yes, you can use an ftp-proxy but you can not specify it in the
online-update itself. You have to use a special ftp-proxy such as the
SuSE proxy-suite. After installing the rpm-package there is a file
called /etc/proxy-suite/ftp-proxy.conf.
The first important parameter is:
DestinationAddress <patchserver-fqdn>
The second parameter is:
ServerType
