Hi Uwe,
I have in my logfile only gets for the hexadecimal version of the client ip. But because I want to use the same ip for all clients at the first stage of the autoyast installation, I cannot differ the clients. So the macaddress would be a nice and only working feature.

Maybe you have a file like "C" or "C0" or something like that in your document root of the webserver? If not, paste that part of the access.log please.

I don't like this last line because it's a successfull GET request. I guess your webserver has answered with the index.html in this case or with a directory listing (depends on how your webserver is configured).
