I have network config set up so that eth0 is setup for DHCP:
<networking>
<dns>

However once the system is installed, running yast2 shows that NO network devices were configured, and I have no network. Is there something wrong with my script, or is this yet another SUSE bug?
Do you use YaST to generate the client config xml? Package autoyast2, GUI: start YaST, click 'Misc', click 'Autoinstallation' CLI: yast autoyast It might help to generate error free config files. Cheers, Leen

Yes, I did use Yast2 to create the config file, and then I hand modified some of it. According to the docs, my config is perfect, but autoyast chooses to ignore it. Go figure, par for the course. -- Jesse Keating RHCE Pogo Linux -- Linux Systems Engineer tel: (888) 828-7646 ex: 436

Here's something: http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-autoinstall/2004-Aug/0068.html Hope this helps. ;) Cheers, Leen
Hi, Same applies here, control file was a modified version with minimal configuration data. Anas Jesse Keating wrote:
