You can select a custom kernel in the software-section of the XML-file (SuSE 8.2): <software> <addons config:type="list"/> <base>(Your selection)</base> <kernel>k_smp</kernel> </software> (no kernel in Your selection) Unfortunately, I found this documented only in the DTD. -- Ciao, Carsten
