Could you perhaps wait till today evening? No really.
Then it's friday evening, I need to have the beta done on monday morning or we missed yet another week. You can spend the weekend to prepare the final artwork, but it will miss the beta.
Hmm, can't we keep the old artwork for the beta?
Why is it so important to you? It's just a Beta. Having a community based artwork in a beta-version is IMO much better then a photo I made ages ago. I like the Darker / White one, but how about you try some gray instead of White. I do like the blue one as well, I think its a good touch for KDE.

Hello All! FYI: Tomorrow at 1 pm MEZ we are going to meet in the #opensuse-artwork channel to discuss the final artwork. Currently we have no good sources (SVG or other vector graphic) for the azul wallpaper. That means, if we have no sources till tomorrow 1pm we will have to drop this wallpaper. I personally like Richards barcurls-* wallpaper, specially as we have SVGs and it picks up the current t-shirt artwork. So, I have to read all your mails now :-) Cya! What I would suggest: avoid circles like mad - they make it _very_ important to keep the aspect ratio, something we can't guarentee for most tools scaling. It's very reminiscent of the 11.3 wallpaper we had (the one that the grumpy old men with the cheap monitors called 'swamp water').
