That's very nice! I would suggest also taking a look at this grid for extra, better placement. The element are great but I think they can be rearranged to show some symetry. http://www.ultimate-photo-tips.com/photography-rule-of-thirds.html Thank you Andy (anditosan) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

Is "Time to Grow" a decided slogan? The slogan is condescending. Like telling people to stop acting childish and grow up. Another interpretation of it is "time" implies that 12.3 isn't quite ready for full-stage prime time. As in, we're taking our time nice and slow in 12.3. You are complicated man Bryen :) Time to grow - sounds perfect, like in: "Time to grow - with us." "Time to grow - your Linux." It is call to join and grow with. I guess that is what we actually want, just missed right words, like: Time to grow. The other option is to think that we can't grow, that Victor thinks that we are childish, that 123 is not ready, that time resembles on getting old and ugly, and what not :) Have a fun! -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

Time to grow - sounds perfect, like in:
"Time to grow - with us."
"Time to grow - your Linux."
Then use those as slogans... They are much more inviting: Grow with us. Grow your Linux. Much more powerful than Time to Grow which has a number of negative connotations to it easily. Keep the message simple and straightforward, don't leave room for misinterpretation, as I pointed out. That's way less complicated. :-) Bryen

I like this one. Most likely because vine shadow doesn't lessen contrast from text. -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org

... and because vine in a shadow adds to feeling of depth. (You know that vine is green, but it is far behind and all we see is a shadow.) Now about the rest: The growing 123 is nice idea that adds to "time to grow". Now when I read a whole: (Hey) openSUSE 1 2 3 (its) time to grow. I really like that, but to be on a safe side, we need more opinions from native English speakers. We just have to make sure that something that sounds as an excellent idea to native speakers of other languages, because of automatic translation to their own language, has no negative connotation in English. You may suspect that I think that Bryen is looking too hard, and that we can't find any phrase in any language that can't have some negative connotation. Anyway, for me with this banner Victor made excellent job. http://paste.opensuse.org/33790129 (Hurry up, that link will last only 1 week :) -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
