[opensuse-artwork] Artwork Wiki
Hello again For some time there has been a discussion on what to change/improve for our wiki. We have gathered ideas from different contributors to the team. But now we would like to see if there is anyone that can actually take the task of editing the wiki. I know some things about the wiki, but not everything. Likely many of us are on the same boat. If you have wiki editing skills, please let us know. Strange question, isn't it :) I may have no ideas galore how to fix it, but I'm one of few wiki editors :) Give me layout, or sample, what you would like to see and I'll see what is possible, and what not. For instance portal artwork looks like any other portal wit a lot of lines that divide sections. When Robert Lihm created bento, I'm sure he didn't have in mind so many lines in content area. http://paste.opensuse.org/81848233 Image will hang around for a week. What I can do is to: * change colors of title bars, remove lines from title bars * lower number of horizontal lines, or even remove them completely * lower space at "Space too wide" - either leave one vertical line between content and article listings, or use background color to signify listing space * remove >icon space< from content area; icons alone could be good to decorate, but whole strip reserved only for icons is waste of content area. I would appreciate more ideas, graphics when possible. What is not easy to change is non content area. For that we will have to touch skin itself, which is used all over openSUSE web space, so it will take time for planning and testing on staging server, before rolling out, and to be honest I don't see need for that. -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-artwork+owner@opensuse.org
