[opensuse-arm] Bluetooth keyboard on a Raspberry Pi 4B
On the wiki page HCL:Raspberry_Pi4 I don't see an issue for Bluetooth support. Because my normal keyboard died I am trying to use a small bluetooth keyboard on this system. However I can't find or enable a hci0 device. How do I activate the bluetooth interface of the Rapberry Pi 4? -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

How do I activate the bluetooth interface of the Rapberry Pi 4?
On the Pi3, this command is needed: hciattach /dev/ttyAMA1 bcm43xx 921600 On the Pi4 it might be a different interface. Cheers, Fabian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks. That did the trick. Should this not be included in enabling bluetooth on a Raspberry Pi 4? Bug report? -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Could be done. Maybe a .service provided by raspberrypi-firmware with some code to detect that it's present? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Sounds like a plan. Freek could you open a bug, so that we can track that? Regards, Matthias -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

This device is always present on a Raspberry Pi 3/4 (aarch64).
