This one is definitely faulty. When after xzcat I mount lxroot and do "ls -l etc/" I get like the following: -????????? ? ? ? ? ? aliases d????????? ? ? ? ? ? aliases.d d????????? ? ? ? ? ? alternatives -????????? ? ? ? ? ? bash.bashrc d????????? ? ? ? ? ? bash_completion.d I also tried Build293.7 from: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/ARM:/Factory:/Contrib:/Rasp... which also does not give me ssh access, because Ethernet does not come up. I think that's the only sensible way forward to ensure we don't keep breaking random machines.

Well, I know nothing about openQA, but I am interested in working images. If you point me in the right direction I'll take a look at it. The openqa.opensuse.org landing page is a bit sparse. -Alex A.

Hi, Dirk Muller posted a patch to the opensuse-kernel list that fixes the kernel boot hang. But it seems that it hasn't been merged into Factory yet, and so our kiwi images are still broken. I'm not sure who to ping to hurry this up.
