missing kernel source
Hi, I just did a online update of my SuSe 9.0 professional - X86_64. Everything worked fine, except for upgrading the kernel source - that was not found on any of the listed servers. We need the kernel source for compiling our drivers. When will this be available ?. Dolphin has just made a press release about our new SCI_SOCKET software for X86_64 ( and X86 ). With SCI_SOCKET, applications using standard sockets can send data to another machine in appr 2.27us. Most of the testing has been done using SuSe 9.0 professional - X86_64. More about this can be found at http://www.dolphinics.com/news/2004/2_25.html Best regards Hugo ========================================================================================= Hugo Kohmann | Dolphin Interconnect Solutions AS | E-mail: P.O. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/x86_64/update/9.0/rpm/x86_64/kernel-source-2.4.21-201.x86_64.rpm Not sure why YOU didn't find it though. -Andi
Andi, It turns out that somebody has installed another kernel on the machine - that caused YaST ( and I ) to be confused. Sorry for any unconvenience. Best regards Hugo On Wed, 10 Mar 2004, Andi Kleen wrote:
