Hi - reminder works for me too (SuSE9.1 x86_64). Is the Korganiser alarm demon running and are alarms enabled? I think in the standard configuration you should see a calendar icon in the panel applet tray (if you use KDE). Maybe you also need to make the calendar active in Korganiser (but I'm not sure about that). If you checked all the above sorry for suggesting the obvious... I found the problem I guess it was tied to kontact.. The problem is that it appears that Kontact doesn't start the korganizer alarm daemon.
