I gather that many Linux distributions come with schedutils of which taskset is a subset. This is indeed the case for SuSE 9- Enterprise server and for Fedora-core 3. What is the situation with SuSE 9.3 -Professional Series? As of this time, I am unable to find it in the distribution that I have. Could it be that it is included in the SuSE 9.3-Pro distribution and the vendor of my machine did not install it and that is why I do not not find it? In this case I may have to install them from the SuSE 9.3-Pro DVDs. Alternatively, could it be that schedutils & taskset come with Enterprise server only, and if I want these I will have to download them from their respective Homepages? Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Best regards. Sheo (Sheo S.
