No, it is not. In the last 8 hours BeagleDaemon.exe has consumed 34
seconds of CPU time! If you call that a drag you'd better uninstall
allot of other services too.

default, whatever desktop manager is used. As Andreas already told us, the
opensuse people will disable it in final 11.2, and in my opinion that's
the right thing to do.

Sounds good to me; then everyone who irrationally hates Beagle will
stop claiming it is broken. And the rest of us can just install it.
