After I asked my question, I noticed the light in the mouse 
going on and off, so I thought power problem. USB mouse so 
I checked the connection. I had the mouse pplugged into an 
adapter and in the mouse port. The adapter was quite warm 
to the touch. I put the mouse in a USB port, Now it seems 
to be working fine.

Ignore my question.
