You can manually enter 208.67.222.222 as the dns server in that
file to see if it fixes things. If so you can use this page
https://www.opendns.com/start/device/suse-linux to configure
a more permanent setup.
That's OpenDNS. It's a great service; I've been using it for almost a year now.
