I'm not sure what you are trying to do but if it involves compiling
something then you need libstdc++33-devel.

If you read the thread you would see it was about the ATI fglrx video
drivers that need libstdc++.so.5 NOT the stock stuff they drivers will
not install unless libstdc++.so.5 is installed , Therefore i need the
location of that lib .

Anyone else know where to get this darn stupid lib from for 11.1 x86_64

As mentioned in the message you replied to, libstdc++33-devel.


Incorrect nope nada not a hope not there installed still the same no
libstdc++.so.5 next please
