Hello,

Don't worry about the bad English on one hand...

For your first problem, the one with the widgets, I lost that post,
but there was a post that had the exact same problem as yours; were
you subscribed just a week ago?

On the other hand, your other problem with the desktop icons, might be
two different problems, try:

http://forums.opensuse.org/applications/406886-kde-4-2-icon-issues.html

OR TRY

RUN THIS COMMAND - "kquitapp plasma && rm .kde4/share/config/plasma*
&& plasma &"

Be aware that this will reset your desktop settings back to default and force
a rebuild of plasmarc and plasma-appletsrc (which are the config files
responsible for storing all of the kde4 plasma desktop settings, both in
~/.kde4/share/config), so you will have to reconfigure your desktop from
scratch.

Just so you know and don't get a surprise when you do it...

Rodney.

Thanks for the warning; I forgot that...

But it worked for many, so I decided to have him try it out...
