But seriously, what are the odds that someone on a mailing list devoted to
a Linux distribution will use a Microsoft-only MUA? Even if that distro
has close ties with Microsoft? There are a few people, but not many.

I answers would go to the list by default, think about what happens with
"vacation" autoresponders, specially the ones sent by outlook.
