We've been having some interesting discussions over on the factoryI have tried out KDE 4.1. Now I use Gnome, and earlier (when I had open Suse 10.3) I have used KDE 3.
mailing list, and it was pointed out that maybe we were ignoring the
regular users, so I figured I'd give it a shot and see how things have
been going for those using KDE in openSUSE 11.0.
General questions I have for you are:
1. Which KDE are you using, v3.x or v4.x?
2. If you are using KDE4, what are your thoughts? Better than KDE3Worse than both.
or Gnome? Worse?
3. If you are using KDE4, have you updated to the current v4.1.xsee above
build that is available or are you still using the v4.0.x build that
came with the installation?
4. If you have used KDE3 in the past, and are using KDE4 now, do youI did not experience any strengths of KDE 4 because I have aborted my tests very soon.

5. Do you like the look and feel of KDE in either KDE3 or KDE4? Ifthe handling of KDE 3 is OK, but i find the graphical design of gnome better. KDE 4 is IMHO a desaster.
not, what would improve it?
