4. install the quest:
qemu-system-x86_64 -boot d -cdrom /home/user/opensuse.iso -hda opensuse.img
at which point, the entire screen (in or out of X) is taken over,
and the upper left part has a DOS-like bit which churns until it
invites me to hit <ENTER> to install Windows (which is what I mean to do),
<R> for repair (irrelevant), or <F3> to exit.
However, it doesn't respond to the keyboard.
I'm able to get around VTs by way of CTRL-ALT-F(whatever) and kill the
process, but... not getting very far with getting KVM up and running
a guest OS.
I know KVM very well.
Explain a bit more.
Do " cat /proc/cpuinfo"
Do " lsmod | sort"
Which Host ? (OS+hardware)
Which Guest OS version?
