I have this set of instructions for my genius wizardpen mouse tablet xorg
7.3 for fedora

Compiling and Installing (64-Bit Systems)
./configure --with-xorg-modules-dir=/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input/
make
strip src/.libs/wizardpen_drv.so
cp src/.libs/wizardpen_drv.so /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/input

My question is: Is this the same for openSuSE? For that last 2 lines
isn't that 'make install'?

THanks. L x

You could just try the given instructions and see if that works, or even
better: rebuild the fedora source rpm on your system. That way you wouldn't
mix manual installations and rpm installations on your system.
