DVD+RW

I have read a lot of complains that RW media is not good for this
task. Can you try with normal blank DVD?

Usually DVD+RW/R is slightly more reliable for data burning than
DVD-RW/R ...

But it might be worth checking the capabilities of the drive with.

I have a checked file openSUSE-11.0-DVD-i386.iso and have tried to burn a DVD as adviced with K3b, with growisofs and with Nerolinux 3 and all produced the same amount of bytes, but no booting capability.
What else can I do than buying the box?
