[opensuse] Does automatic updates work in 11.0?

Does the automatic online update module is YaST work in openSUSE 11? I know
in 10.3 it send system mail to the configured user every time it ran, it now
does not do this, and today there is a recommended update
"Repository | Name | Version | Category | Status
----------------------+----------+---------+-------------+-------
openSUSE-11.0-Updates | timezone | 46 | recommended | Needed"
This just made me even wonder if it works, or there for looks.
