But there are rpms available as well:
For 10.3 you can use
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_10.3/
as a repository for it
For 11.0, just run an online update to get the final version

Hello
I have some trouble with Firefox 2 (crashes and is dead slow, 10 sec
to alt-tab from another application isn't strange) so I would like to
update to Firefox 3. However yast doesn't have firefox 3 yet so I neet
to get it from mozilla. They provide me with a tar.bz2 file. Then I
hit a brick wall: there is no install, make won't do anything with the
files in it and if I add it as a repository there is nothing there.
I usually install with yast from the common repositories, so i do not
know how to install otherwise.
I know some of you already installed 3, so could you please tell me
how to do it? I have some experience in console.
