Isn't jpilot java? If so, java programs don't segfault, they throw a java
exception and print out a stack trace. If there really is a segfault, it will
come from the jvm itself, so you might want to try a different one as well,
and see if that helps things

However, I think it is definitely time to recompile and repackage the
Jpilot as there is certainly a problem with one that comes with SuSE
10.3. Any tips on how to help that process along would be greatly
appreciated.
