[opensuse] Make gampepad stop screensaver

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to make input from a gamepad keep the screensaver from turning on? I have a KPowersave scheme that the screen saving features that I use when I'm going to play a game, but it would be far more convenient if KPowersave or whatever it is that controls this could recognize the gamepad input as something to delay the screensaver.
