This is true and HP-UX runs 64-bits on PA-RISC and IA64. But, these are
relatively more recent as Tru64 Unix is the first 64-bit Unix followed by
Linux on the Alpha in 1995. My statement was the 64-bit Linux predates all
commercial Unixes except for Tru64 Unix. We actually had it running at a
Boston Computer Society meeting in February, 1995.
