I quote from the 9.3 Admin Guide - Section 11.3 Installing and Configuring
Fonts :
"The font files can be copied manually (as root) to a suitable directory, such
as /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype. Alternatively, the task can be
performed with the KDE font installer in the KDE Control Center. The result
is the same."
