Hi,
I'm having some problems with Adaptec 2100S with Suse 9.2
I'm using dpt_i2o scsci module to load this controller and all works
fine.
The controller is used only by DAT SONY Model: SDX-700C (no disks are
used)
But sometimes, during backup process (read or write) the system just
hangs and I need to reboot server (cpu load is very high and can't do
anything else)
The /var/log/messagens report only this :
Nov 8 14:18:17 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Trying to Abort cmd=20781106
Nov 8 14:18:17 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Abort cmd not supported
Nov 8 14:18:17 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Trying to reset device
Nov 8 14:18:17 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Device reset not supported
Nov 8 14:18:17 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Bus reset: SCSI Bus 0: tid: 8
Nov 8 14:18:17 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Bus reset success.
Nov 8 14:18:27 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Hba Reset: scsi id 0: tid: 8
Nov 8 14:18:27 banco4 kernel: dpti0: Quiesced.
Nov 8 14:18:38 banco4 kernel: dpti0: LCT has 12 entries.
Any ideas to resolve this issue?
