I do not know if this was happening in the previous versions. I found 
out if you start up YAST2 (graphical version) and minimize it try to 
logout. I found out that the system keeps on waiting for Yast2 to 
terminate. Problem since it is minimize, you can not bring it up to 
close the window. The desktop is basically locked until you terminate Yast2.

One way I closed it is to go on another system and login into the system 
as root. Kill Yast2 and then the system will logout properly. Is there 
another possible alternative to do this?
