can't print in SuSE 10.0

After a new install of 10.0 over 9.3 I can't print (epson
c70 to /dev/lp0). The cups debug doesn't seem to show
anything wrong and yast detected the printer correctly. The
firewall is not activated for the internal zone.
Can anyone point me in the correct direction? I could post
the cups debug output but it's very verbose.
